Long time no see

I have been working hard at learning how to use my knitting machines. So much to learn.

My wonderful DH was able to get me a chunky knitting machine, this is the type that can take any yarn, even the ones at the stores.

We sent Nemo out for stud in the month of Feb and he is now going to be a papa. The puppies are due April 6th, my Dad's birthday. We are hoping to get a little female, hoping to have a black one.

DS is starting up football again, Varsity ball...it is so exciting to see him mature and watch his body change as he tones up for the training. DD is also training for rugby, I am a little scared and worried that she might get really hurt. There is no padding for rugby players.

Well off in search for more knittng stuff.

late posting

Gosh I don't know how people do it? How do they remember to post to their blog everyday?

My sister requested that I make 2 cards for a package that she is sending to Toronto.

I want to make sure the cards are perfect and unfortunately I start to obsess about it and then get stressed out.

So maybe I will try a different approach and just drop them on the card base and where they land is where I will glue them.

Recently I purchased a software called Sure Cuts A Lot which is a program that I can use with my cricut machine. The best thing is that I don't have to keep purchasing cartridges everytime I want to cut something different. This in the long run will save me money big time.

Along with this program is an other program that can be used to do design/alter cuts. I am having a real hard time with it, so I will have to see if I can find a book or lessons on line to learn from.

Frustration

Okay...I am new to this whole blog thing, I consider myself to be somewhat computer savy but for the life of me I can not figure out the whole "button" thing.

I wonder if there is an idiots guide to blogging or at least a blonde's guide to blogging.

Cards that I have done

I finally got around to uploading pictures of my cards.

I have to say that so far my favorite stamp so far is the Butterfly one from Inkadinkado, it embosses so well and when you add colour to it the butterfly just POPs out.

I feel so happy that I was able to find the deal to purchase the stamps from a wonderful lady who was giving up on stamping after many, many years.

I think God or fate had a hand in me finding the ad for the items and me being able to afford to purchase them. Over 50 stamps, pads, paper, emblishments etc..for only 200$. I am completely set and now only have to visit craft stores for inspiration.

New to me Blog

I was reading my group emails that come in daily and stumbled across a site done by a brilliant crafter named Dan.

Now being partial to the name (because of DH) I went and took a look.

WOW is all I can say, he is very creative and I will be making sure that I follow his blog.

First Time

Well I guess I will give this blog thing a go.

Today is Canada day and it is 10:42 in the morning. I am not sure what the day will bring but I hope it includes a swim and sun.

DH has already made spaghetti sauce and it smells yummy.
